Libraries Alive! exists to provide useful advice to libraries and other organisations with an interest in ideas and information.

As library consultants, our core business is proving information value and improving information-related service delivery.

The company is Australian in its outlook, independent, and wholly owned by its founders Ian McCallum and Sherrey Quinn.

Trading successfully since 1997, Libraries Alive! is proud to encompass all types of libraries and information services in its customer list.

Our approach to our work is considered, frank and open. We will tell you if the emperor has no clothes. We use only inclusive decision-making processes and are always guided by a 'No Surprises' project management and quality assurance methodology.

We believe in the social and economic value of libraries and information services. We contribute to the activities of the Australian Library and Information Association, and to the development of leadership potential in young professionals through the Aurora Foundation. We are a Friends of Libraries Australia (FOLA) Corporate Partner.

Our Rewarding Reading course promotes the value of reading and the importance of readers' advisory and reader development work in public libraries.
